Rooted Heart Health Months:
February and March
At Rooted Movement, we’re dedicating February and March to raising awareness and funds for heart health in partnership with the American Heart Association. Together, we’ll celebrate movement, wellness, and community while making a meaningful impact.
As part of our Heart Health initiative, we’re opening two of our most popular Saturday classes—Carry Club and Mobility Class—to the public for free. Instead of charging, we encourage donations to support the American Heart Association’s lifesaving work.
Saturday Classes: Strength, Cardio, and Recovery
Every Saturday
9:00 AM – Carry Club (35 minutes)
10 - 10:45 AM – Mobility Class
Carry Club: Learn how to lift and carry weights properly while incorporating practical, functional movements like sled pushing, chain dragging, and cycling on the Eko bike. This class promotes cardiovascular fitness, strength, and functional mobility—all while having fun in a supportive community. Once a month, we include a Ruck Day, where we focus on long-distance weighted carries (check our website for specific dates).
Mobility Class: After Carry Club, join us for a gentle recovery session focused on stretching and relaxation techniques. This class promotes flexibility, stress relief, and a healthy mind-body connection.

Goal Setting for Fitness

At Rooted Movement, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to be healthy and strong. That's why we host Carry Club every Saturday at 9:00 AM—an open community class where you can build strength at your own pace without needing a membership.
Carry Club is designed for beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts alike. Whether you want a light workout or you're aiming for a personal record, this class adapts to your goals. The session involves moving weights down a 45-foot parking lot in various ways, mimicking everyday activities like carrying groceries. You'll work with chains, kettlebells, resistance bikes, medicine balls, and deadlifting stations.
This isn't a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class. Instead, it's a relaxed environment where you move at your own pace and choose your level of challenge. There's minimal technique required, making it ideal for anyone who wants to join us for a Saturday morning workout.
